Porto Zoro is among the most spectacular beaches on the peninsula and is reached off the primary highway north out of Vassilikos and before the flip to Argassi. Porto Roma has a couple of beach bars, three tavernas and a few small outlets. Luxury flats have been built behind the seaside but they don't seem to be significantly intrusive. The waters are shallow and the shore gently shelving and, although remote, the small seashore can still fill up rapidly with visitors within the excessive season. At the tip of the Gerakas peninsula is the tiny cove of Porto Roma and a narrow sand seaside with tavernas overlooking the sea.
Marathonisi has reefs that hyperlink it to the cape of Marathias and there are two small seashores on the islet. Turtles nest on an extended sand bank and it's a protected a part of the marine park but that doesn't cease turtle watchers scaring the creatures off earlier than they get there.
The steep, slender seashore has more pebble than sand but it's still very attractive, with heat shallow waters and a small river running into the sea for added curiosity.
