I think that the bug that causes results to be different if the program is shut down and then started back up is still present. See http://csgrid.org/csg/workunit.php?wuid=4898825 for one work unit where my result at http://csgrid.org/csg/result.php?resultid=10285824 was marked as invalid because I was forced to shut down BOINC and then restart it in the middle of processing this work unit.

I have to shut down my computer most nights. I have noticed that nearly all of the DNA@home results that are declared invalid involve work units where the progress of one of the results in that work unit is interrupted and resumed by a BOINC client shutting the program down and then starting the program back up as seen in the BOINC stderr logs. Could someone please look into this issue? No other BOINC project I have participated in has this problem. I am using the 64-bit Windows client version 0.48.

Anyways, I do not know if this is the right forum to report this issue, but I could not find a forum specifically for reporting problems, and this forum seemed to be the best match.
