Travis, any idea when feeder/validator/assimilator will run again ?

I ( also many users, i guess) have WU waiting report.
Because very few WU i pipe (2790), i understand it is not needed to run all full time.
But once a week duri,ng 24 hours would be nice.

Server demons are down for 2 weeks now :(

Server status page shows feeder, validator ... as not running and my BOINC client gets "Project is temporarily shut down for maintenance" since a couple of days.

Looks like you have a batch of old WUs. The error was fixed with v0.43.
Simply cancel all v0.42 WUs and get a bunch of new ones.

Version 0.43 is running much better - no errors. Runtime ~ half an hour.
Am waiting for my wingmen now to see if they validate.

No luck here.

Debug Assertion Failed!

Program: ... Gibbs_0.42_windows_x86_64.exe

Pressing Ignore doesn't help, the message box keeps on popping up until I press Abort.

I guess the end time for the Off Nest event was meant to be 21:09:31.
This would correspond to the few seconds a hen needs to return to her nest.

In another thread Travis told us to mark the leaving and returning events accurately because they are important for the motion detection software.

Yupp, Blaisdell is working like a charm now. Thank you Travis.

I'm somehow stuck with a video. Everytime when I choose Blaisdell the same video opens:
One event (Parent behavior - on nest) with correct start and end time is already set. Random video and Next video buttons both run into SyntaxError: unexpected token M. I've tried deleting the event and creating it again but keep running into the same error.

Belden and Lostwood videos are working fine.

Could you fix the event number calculation please? The first event seems never to be counted. if 'Im marking a single event only (e.g. the bird is sitting on the eggs for the whole time) then my number of events isn't increased.

Now it's me who can't load any video. Copying the video adress into a new browser tab gives a 404
Forbidden You don't have permission to access /share/wildlife/streaming_2/oil_development/2012/sharptailed_grouse/Lostwood/150.512_hatch/5-23-12_150512/CH00_20120524_144639MN_CHILD2.ogv on this server. Apache/2.2.20 (Ubuntu) Server at wildlife.und.edu Port 80

Happens with Chrome and Firefox and with both the old and the new interface.

1. The tooltip for the Next Video button is still referencing the Update button you've just removed.

2. There's a ? button in the lower right corner of the site. I couldn't find out what it's good for.

3. When a parent leaves the nest it usually stands up and simply walks away. Am I correct that you don't want us to mark this as 3 events
    Parent behaviour - Standing
    Parent behaviour - Walking
Parent behaviour - Not on Video

but as just one event

Parent behaviour - Not on Video ?

17) Message boards : Image and Video Discussion : Duplicate report bug? (Message 2164)
Posted 17 Nov 2013 by Senilix
Yep, I've noticed this too when I used multiple browser windows/tabs to load a couple of videos at a time. Then sometimes it happens that the same video shows up in two different windows/tabs. I don't think there's an easy way to prevent this server-side, other than restricting the number of videos a user can aquire to one only.

Edit: I would think the validator is accepting only one report of any user to prevent users validating themselves or getting multiple credits. Travis, could you confirm this please?

Size of this file is 1.2 GB, so download it only if you have enough bandwith.

A better way to handle these monster videos: rightclick the video, copy the video URL to Firefox, replace the mp4 with ogv and play that video. Quality is worse than the mp4 video but streaming is much faster.

Comments: Hen visually observes camera from __:__:__ to __:__:__ Hen pecks camera (x # of times) at __:__:__ and __:__:__.

This throws up a question: Do you prefer absolute times (like 20:01:42) rather then relative times (like 0:23)? I've been using relative time marks since they are easier to read from most videos. But I can easily switch to absolute time marks if that's more suitable for you?
