Hi Everyone!

Sorry about lots of delays in work generation but we've finally started up some new runs. Things have been pretty busy getting settled in here at RIT. We have some interesting work in the pipleline so we're hoping to have a new application out sometime this semester.

cheers,
--Travis

Before you start the new runs, I guessing that you are re-running all the old work units that failed before (some from badly configured hosts and some from faulty wu's), to clean everything up?

I say this as I am still getting work from the old batch, and no new batch is listed on the server.

Although it appears that the work units I am getting are new not old, so don't know where they come from unless the full batch had not been released before you shut off the server.

Thanks
Conan

Hi Conan,

It looks like stragglers came back which resulted in more old WUs going out. Not quite sure what I can do about that given how the BOINC scheduler/feeder works; other than having a long downtime between new runs to make sure everything comes back first. That being said those old WUs can still be useful if they generate some better results for the CNNs I'm training, so it's not wasted work/effort.

It also looks like you're now out of work as the tasks ready to send has been at 0 since this morning.
