I did an overhaul of the watched videos page. I think the interface is a lot cleaner now. You can also list videos that you've reported and that have been reviewed. There's also more flexibility with filtering videos you've marked corrupt or too dark.

I really like the new interface. It allows for total flexibility in filtering the results.

Could you add Status of Unvalidated?

Thank you.

Also, I really like the visual separation you gave each group of filter dropdowns. And I like the way I can scroll through the results while the filters stay put - that makes it easy to change the filter without scrolling back to the top of the page.

2 thumbs up!

Yeah, I'm starting to get the hang of this php/javascript/css stuff. :)

+1
Really great, having it at the left side like a tool menu was a good idea.

Will there be in future the possibility to edit my markings? When I look through my unvalidated videos there are a lot videos that hang around because I mismarked them because I was to fast.

A correction/edit for just viewed videos when you notice your mistakes while submitting is planned, but I don't think it will be allowed to edit older, already watched videos.

It might take awhile to add that in, and part of me doesn't want to do it (because then people will be less careful and just edit things later). The other thing is in terms of research I think right now it's good for us to track how many things get marked invalid, so we can better ideas of how well people are marking things, and how that improves over time (and if we make changes to the site/how things are viewed if they improve that or not).

Hm, why? I don't see a hard thing on that - I would only put a dialog box in between like "Do you really want to submit this settings?" before the validation screen (which means this one doesn't appear first!!!) and that's it. Everyone should be forced to go over his own settings like this. And everyone who still goes over that is *put*your*own*thought*here*... ;-)

+1 Doc, I was thinking along the same lines, I've often thought if I had something like that I could cut out 90+% of my Invalids (Bird Present when it's not Present is my biggest problem) because I'm not paying attention to what I'm Marking.

You are probably right about it becoming an automatic response. In addition, I dread the thought of having to do three clicks to get to the next video (Submit, Are you Sure?, Validation).

If you do implement it, make sure the markings visually stick out - something like red for no, green for yes, and yellow for unsure.

Well then I'll just get my Wife to hit me in the Back of the Head with a Silly Stick every time I goof up, maybe that will do the trick ... lol

Try the watched page now. I just made an update so that the button colors change for yes/no/unsure. Maybe this is a quicker (and more elegant) solution.

Well, that really sticks out. I'll have to test it out for a few hundred videos to see how well it helps. Nice touch though.

Yup, looks great, I can set my Monitor settings lighter now to help out on the darker Video's ... I don't think I even would need the Are You Sure Button now with the Colored Buttons ...

Well not to say I won't Mistakenly Mismark another Video again since Travis implemented the colored markings I've only Mistakenly Mismarked 2 Video's out of the last 800 I've watched. Both of those were for accidentally hitting the Too Dark Button when going to make a comment on the Video. For me that's a Vast Improvement, I usually mismark 1-3 out of a 100, that doesn't mean I haven't marked other Video's wrong it just means I've made a big improvement with Mismarking Videos with the colored marking box's ...
