I've updated the validator to try and pre-validate tweets, so a lot more have been validated now. It will attempt to validate a tweet when there is a single wingman (as opposed to the 3+ required views we want). This should have things validating faster.

Is there a chance you can have the "new" validator look at all the old tweets the "old" validator already looked at and rejected? Pleeeeeez?

I did another 28 tweets and was given 17 valids.
I don't think the first 1238 were looked at again which yealded ZERO valids.
Are they going to be just lost efforts?
Have I got something wrong with what I'm witnessing?
I'm willing to do more work for recognition of past efforts.

Do your first 1238 have wingmen? Nothing is lost, don't worry about that. I'll make sure everyone gets credit for the tweets they've reviewed.

Yes there are a few (not many) that have wingmen. In one instance, #19098, there are two wingmen and one of them agrees with me in a catagory... I list one catagory, he lists 3 with one the same. The other wingman does not agree with either of us and all 3 of us are given an inconclusive.

Anyways, on only the latest tweets were there any validation at all. None of the 1238 that I did first were validated. I found that odd.
That makes me think that these were NOT run through the validator after you changed it to "pre-validate" mode.
That was my question... Is it possible to re-check those or do I have to wait until somebody else looks at one before it hits the validator again?
I guess I'm a bit confused, (which is nothing unusual).

JJ - I've restarted classifying because 3 of my 1,238 were validated.

I'm not going to review the other 1,235 and I still want to be able to filter out the "inconclusives" that have no wingpersons

I'll look through these and see if anything weird is happening. What happened was originally people were being shown tweets at random (and not tweets that other people had viewed) so most of them have no wingmen. This has been fixed so as people watch more it should validate those original tweets.

I'll double check and make sure it isn't some other issue though.

Please do. 900 more classified and not one valid. I've stopped as most have. I'll restart once you confirm tweets are sent out with the purpose of getting wingpersons and hence validation.

Hi Steve,

You're up to almost 700 valid now. Will be keeping a closer eye on the validator and making sure it's not down for so long! I really apologize for my long disappearance here but we had some pretty tough issues to deal with this last month or so.

Should have them counting in the team top lists as well shortly.
