Looks like I've got the badges added to the forums. Although, at the rate some of you are going through video (Lemon) we might need some more (I'm looking at you DoctorNow) for watched video. :) The forums will also display the accuracy rate as well as the number of seconds of video watched (and validated).

next up on the to-do list:
1. get the report video button working
2. update the top lists
3. more work units

Anything else I'm missing?

Great, even with tooltips!

Hehe, I already feared that... Lemon, you need a second hobby. ;-P
Will see what I can do over the weekend, maybe I have an idea to even make accuracy badges, who knows... ;-)

Lemon, you need a second hobby. ;-P

For the last two months, I've been digging up my backyard to replace parts of the septic line. That's a project that will last a few more months. Once it is done, I'll be able to devote more time/effort to watching bird videos.

I've added the credit badges to the badge banner from Free-DC as below.

They also show up on the userbycpid (that one is mine).

Is there any kind of export of the data needed for bossa credit at all?

I think it's not intended to have bossa credits over on any stats site since it isn't really a kind of credit like before, so there is no export.

I don't think so. AFAIK this is the only project that's doing crowd sourcing like this, so I'm not sure if there's any other site we could compare that credit to.

We're already exporting BOINC credit for workunits.

I suppose if some other projects start awarding bossa credit then it might be worth tracking them across multiple projects? I could put the bossa credit in the export file.

It's really just to display the badges for a user more than anything as I have nothing to determine the Bossa ones at the moment that I know of..

I don't advocate adding the Bossa credit into boinc credit at all.

Perhaps just some xml output showing the badge level like Wuprop provide where it's not based on normal BOINC credit ?

I could parse that easily enough.

Of course if you want to make the credit available I could always add it in to the stats, NOT as an addition to the BOINC credit, but just hold it separately on the user account for Wildlife@Home. Kind of like how I display hourly data for Wuprop or the subproject data for PrimeGrid and Yoyo@Home.

Yeah, there's no plan at the moment to add bossa credit into BOINC credit, and I generally think that's a bad idea (along with everyone else). It could be cool to have it as an additional stat however. I'll see what i can do about updating the export xml.

What about having the black menu bar (Wildlife@home, Watch Video, About the Wildlife etc) also on the forum sites? In my opinion that would make it easier to navigate around this project.

Also a special page that can't be posted to for the Badges would be nice, we could Link to it in our Team Forums ... Thanks

Pretty late, I know, but while browsing around Diablo3 I found this: LINK

Maybe that is something that can be used for the accuracy-badges. Not that style of course but the idea with different frames for different levels of accuracy seem to be nice to me. And this way you can really see that the accuracy-badges are the most valuable ones.

Don't worry, this came still good in time. I already had an idea for Travis' predefined percentage range but only could make some small templates yet which didn't look very good.
I wouldn't have thought about something like this but it gave me an inspiration, maybe I can make something better with that.

Do you mean like a page just describing all the badges and at what credit you get them?

Probably, but just wait with that until I posted the new badges and they're discussed. I planned some changes...
They're up in a few minutes, I'm still working on them...
