To help debug the invalid issue, I've started a set of new runs (and won't be generating any more work for the old runs - however you'll still get credit for your tasks in progress). Please let me know if any of the work units for 'test_hg19_1000fa_4', 'test_hg19_100fa_4' or 'test_hg19_10fa_4' end up invalid.

Travis,

I have had my computer freezing and slowing almost to the point of stopping.
It has just started to process DNA workunits.

When I noticed this using system monitor
I went to terminal and used the command

sudo /etc/init.d/ boinc-client stop

to turn boinc off completely. This immediately returned full functionality to the computer and resulted in recieving this error I have never seen before in the terminal when using the boinc command

no talloc stackframe @.. /source3/param/loadparam.c:4864,leaking memory

EDIT additional information:
*1*
ubuntu 14.04
boinc version: 7.2.42 (x64)
*2*
I cant get the work unit names as if i restart boinc the computer immediately grinds to almost a full stop

Googling this I don't think it's a boinc issue, see this thread askubuntu.com:
