I'll be putting in an update to the EXACT application this weekend. Due to the fact that it requires new input files and is not compatible with the current version I'm going to release it as a new app, so I can keep the validator/assimilator running for the old version (that way you won't lose any credit or work from current workunits).

I'm going to stop generating workunits for the current EXACT app and should be releasing them out to test things tonight. I've done some pretty thorough testing on my end so hopefully the transition can happen without too many hiccups.

As these only have a version change, but still have the same Application name, how are they a new application? They are showing as the same application to me just with the version change.

They're in the database with a separate application id (exact2 vs exact). If you go to the server status page there's a separate validator/assimilator for them.

Hi Travis,
On the server status page, they have identical names. To avoid confusion it would be better to use EXACT2 consistently :)

I've updated it's name to EXACT2 in the user friendly application string, so newly workunits should use this new string so you can tell the difference (also if you want to check/uncheck it on your profile settings).

My first new EXACT WU requires 1.3GB.
This was a bit of a shock for my 32-bit system...

Some of the new WUs are using the CIFAR-10 dataset, which is some 50,000 color images:

https://www.cs.toronto.edu/~kriz/cifar.html

So they're going to be a bit larger...
