Looks like Pentathlon people (like me!) have drained the queue dry. Can you add more?

Looks like Pentathlon people (like me!) have drained the queue dry. Can you add more? With the pentathlon postponed for a month and school out for the summer might not be easy to generate new work. Terrible pick for the longest part of the pentathlon IMHO. No reflection on all the hard work done here. What was SG thinking?

Looks like Pentathlon people (like me!) have drained the queue dry. Can you add more? Travis has been very busy over the last few months. From all indications he has given us recently, the end of the school year was to provide an opportunity to give the project as a whole some much needed TLC. From the point of view pf the Pentathlon, only SSS and DNA provide credit (Wildlife has not had work units to crunch in a very long time). Climate Tweets is buggy and the Wildlife videos watched have not been validated in months but these are basically badge only endeavors. The best we can hope for I fear is a large dump of SSS work units and hopefully enough DNA to last a few weeks as well. A golden opportunity is being missed to showcase the more obscure sub projects to many new users over the next two weeks. Curiosity will quickly give way to reality and I don't expect the retention rate to be very high. As for SG"s criteria, who can say?

Is Travis aware of the pentathlon, and the project being out of work? Has anyone asked him directly?

According to a blurb in the Seti-Germany shoutbox, the Pentathlon organizers were in contact and assured that attention would be shown to the project PRIOR to the start. Obviously nothing was done and worse yet absolutely no contact whatsoever. A simple "I am honored to be chosen as the main project in the 2016 Pentathlon, but am far too busy to devote the time needed on short notice. Thank you and I hope you will consider Citizen Science Grid next year" would have been far preferable.

I contacted Travis in advance as well to confirm and he said that he was notified.

I just can not understand why any Project Administrator runs a project and tells all their volunteers that he has no time to maintain it. This has been a problem with the three sub projects that is supposed to be Active for quite some time. Why is it running and called ACTIVE. A Month ago Assistant Professor Travis Desell said this among other things like "things are hectic", busy etc:

I don't think Travis fully comprehends that he could've had 18 months worth of work completed over the 19 days of the Pentathlon (including the 5 days prior to the start when the Marathon was announced). He'll come back later and wonder why the work isn't being completed faster.
